Apple to Ship new iPad on March 16, with Highest Retina Display, LTE and A5X Processor 
Apple just unveiled the most anticipated tablet in the tech world, And as always, Apple came up a surprise name for the new tablet as "the new iPad", as opposed to the speculations iPad 3 or iPadHD.

In the terms of looks, the new iPad maintains the signature designs from its predecessor. The changes made on the tablet were on the weight and thickness, which the new one is slightly heavier (1.46lbs versus 1.44lbs), and slightly thicker (.37 against .34 inches) than iPad 2.

The new iPad brags on lot of improvements starting on the Retina display (Apple uses the "Retina" display to label its iPhone screens). It has a higher-resolution at 2,048 x 1,536-pixel display that is 4 times the number of pixels from iPad and iPad 2 which only displays at 1024 x 768 resolutions.

Next is the A5X chip quad-core processor as the latest Apple custom-designed for browsing speed. A 5 megapixel rear-facing iSight camera capable to capture video on a 1080p Full HD even in low light places. Apple also claims that the new iPad boasts long life battery at 10hours.

Apple retains the price of the new iPad with iPad 2 with 16GB at $499 and 64GB at $699 which will start to ship on March 16 from selected countries.

In related news, Smart Communications Philippines officials also announced that it welcomes the new iPad to be their wireless services provider. Smart claims as the only service provider to offer superfast LTE (Long Term Evolution) 4G Technology network in the country.
