Kindle Sets the World Afire with its New Kindle Fire Devices

Amazon’s Kindle Fire Suites and Kindle E-Readers were unveiled last Thursday, Sept 6 at the company’s Santa Monica media event. No less than Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos, introduced the latest lineup of Kindle Fire Tablets promising the best tablets to work and play on. The new Kindle devices promise a much improved tablet experience utilizing the newest software services.

In the forefront of Kindle E-Readers recently introduced is the Paperwhite, very slim at 9.1mm and super lightweight at 7.1oz. It features a 212 PIP display that lights up so you can read in the dark. A new software feature included in the latest E-Readers is the aptly named “Time to Read” which estimates the amount of time it will likely take for you to finish reading a book. The standard model of the Paperweight markets at $119 while the 3G version sets you back by a mere $179. The original Kindle is now at a very low-cost of $69.

The real show-stopper in the latest unveiling is the Kindle Fire. It is even slimmer at 8.8mm and is very light at 8.8 oz. It is equipped with a dual antenna promising a better connection. Amazon has equipped it with Dolby sound stereo speakers and an HD camera. Kindle Fire HD, on the other hand, is the 4G LTE version with 32GB storage that comes with an amazingly low-priced data plan of $50 a year. Prices of the different types of Kindle Fire models range from $199 to $500.
