Samsung announced the much awaited Galaxy Gear last week. It was launch at SM Auria Premier along with Galaxy Note 3. You can do lots of things with Galaxy Gear, it is also a stylish watch with built in Mic that can be used to connect to your phone in making calls. It is being connected to phone using the latest Bluetooth technology called Bluetooth 4.0 LE. It has also 1.9 MO camera which can also record videos. The sad things is it is only compatible with Galaxy Note 3. But for sure soon it could also be used for Galaxy Note II , S2 and S4 after the mentioned phone upgraded to 4.3, which could possibly be don on October.
Galaxy Gear comes with 6 color option, Wild Orange, Mocha Gray, Jet Black, Oatmeal Beige, Lime Green, and Rose Gold. It has a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display which is powered by a single-core 800MHz Exynos processor and 512 MB RAM. Battery is battery is at 315mAh.
The Galaxy gear cost Php 13,990 and will be released this Oct 4.
I have not heard if this is announced in Saudi Arabia.
