Possible Recall of Sony Vaio F & C Series Laptop

There are possibilities that Sony Vaio F & C Series Laptop  that was launched last January will be recalled due to defective Chipset, that have a risk of seriously overheating, and could even cause burns.

Sony Vaio have been notified by user complaining about the issue. According to Wall Street Journal, The total complaints reach about 40 , and that affected customers will be able to download a software fix or contact the company directly to have the laptop picked up for a repair.

Sony Recalling Some Vaio Laptops

An Approximate of 535,000 units of Vaio laptops will be recalled. The heat could also distort the shape of the laptop.

The recall concerns some of the company’s F and C-Series Vaio laptops sold since January 2010. Sony added that the recall applies to 259,000 laptops in the U.S., 103,000 in Europe, 120,000 in Asia and 52,000 in Japan.

    I can’t believe what times we live in. You pay a lot of money to buy yourself a new laptop and its not even working properly. I have a Vaio laptop myself its good its not one of the faulty series. Thanks for keeping us updated.
