GSMA 2009 : New Acer Tempo Smartphone

Acer, which is more known for its laptos, Netbooks and notebooks is now engaging in smartphone business,

"The smartphone market is the natural direction of our long-term mobile strategy as our ambition is to offer compelling solutions to all the needs of mobile users," Lanci said.

The New Acer Smartphone will be called Acer Tempo smartphone series, the handsets are all Windows Mobile. The Tempo series also offers a broad range of devices, from the high end to the low end as it mention in GSMA 2009. Acer promised to released and make available in public by March 2009.

We still need to wait for Other models which Acer Plan to release se in the second half of 2009 include which includes Acer L1 and the Acer C1, which are entry-level devices for those making the jump from a regular cell phone to their first smartphone. These two units will be the low end smartphone of Acer as it will 49 euros (around $62) or less after carrier subsidies according to the News.
