Dropbox - Online backup, file sync, and sharing made easy._1298890188916

When I say synchronized files, it only means that the files will be same and updated wherever it is. I am referring to Dropbox, dropbox is an online back up, computer application which can synchronized different files into different computer. So if users want to synchronize files in their home computer and their computer at the office, they can use dropbox.

As an example if users open and change some data in their excel files at their office, it will automatically update on their home computer provided that both computer is connected to the internet.

New users will provided with free 2GB, capacity and they can have an additional 250 MB for every friends or colleagues who will install dropbox from referral link.

A user could have a maximum capacity of free 8GB. It could synchronize mp3 files, picture, office documents etc.

If user has iPod, iPad, iPhone, Galaxy Tab or any tablet, be informed that dropbox is working on those mentioned device. It works fine with my iPod and Galaxy Tab. And I could say that this is one of my most used applications in my gadgets. But be informed that MP3 files is not synching in my Galaxy Tab. Files will be stored in the SD Card / phone card of the gadgets.

One of the best features is that you could also put documents in the public folders and you can share the files by just proving the links.

I used Dropbox, but I now use Sugar Sync. Dropbox lets you sync only the files in the “Dropbox” folder. For Sugar Sync you can choose any folder fron your hard drive and sync it.

Give it a try. I think it’s better than Dropbox.

I’m using Dropbox as well (my account currently has 4GB of storage – 1Gb from promo a few days back and another GB from referrals) and am currently considering a paid account.

Now if they only allowed multiple Dropbox instances on windows 🙂
