I just received notification from PayPal that my account is under Limited Account Access. Actually I don’t know why they did this. The only thing that had happen yesterday is I tried to transfer some funds to my Xoom Account and suddenly there has been some error.
And then when I open my email today it shows me this message.

How to lift this Limited Account Access ?
According to Paypal Resource Center I have to do 3 things as follows :
- Change Password
- Change Security Question
- Add Credit Card Details
I don’t have problem in the first two items but I do have problem in the last item since until now, my account is not yet verified due to the reason that Citibank sent my Card into a wrong Address. I have waited for 1 month and they just send it to my Philippine Address rather than my International Address.
What are the things I can do while on Limited Account Access ?
- receive payments
- place logos into your auction listings or on your website
- update your account information
It only means PayPal can continuously enjoy your earned dollars, But you cannot get it until the ban has been lifted.
What are the things I can’t do while on Limited Account Access ?
- send or request money
- electronically transfer funds from your PayPal account
- close your account
This is sad since we cannot enjoy the money that we earned. I still have $122 in my account, So I have to fixed this things in order for me to get my money.
I will take this on a positive side. What If it is true that somebody is trying to access my PayPal Account? and so PayPal just saved my day.
But it only means that Transferring Paypal to Xoom is not that 100% working smooth although I have tried transferring money from Paypal to Xoom before but not successful . Why will PayPal thinks that Xoom is a Third Party who is trying to access my account without my permission.
Do you suggest any other means of accepting funds from your international partner? Let me know your experience regarding this matter.
