Sony Philippines unveiled the VAIO Tap 20 along with the VAIO Duos 11 in an event held at the Mind Museum in Taguig on October 4 and will be released to the Philippine market this month. The 20 inch tablet is available for full sharing but can still be used with a keyboard and a mouse much like a regular PC. Sony touts its latest tablet as the newest concept in home computing.

"Portable, battery-powered VAIO Tap 20 fits right into any living space. The Sony VAIO Tap 20 will be available in the Philippines within this month at Php59,999. It comes with and IntelCore i5-331 7U processor, a Windows 8 operating system, 4GB DDR3L 1600MHz SDRAM, 500GB HDD 5400rpm drive, Intel HD Graphics 4000, and VGP-BPS21B Lithium-ion battery which promises up to 2.5 hours of uninterrupted usage. With dimensions of 504 mm x 312mm x 45 mm and a weight of 5.2 kg, it is a very big tablet for anyone to lug around but it can be done with a very big bag and a lot of muscle power.
