I just seen from twitter tweets that there are adjustment in PR from Google. And I am proud to say that I got PR0. Yup you read it write. I have PR4 before then it was dropped to PR2 last June 2008 and now it is PR 0.
Anyway it is up to Google to give what ever PR he want to give. Just want to tell you that it will not stop me from blogging :). It might decrease my earnings but I think not my passion in Blogging.
However my other site retain it’s Page Rank 3. Although that site is not always being updated. Anyway It is up to Google on what he thinks. But in the past I have also seen some site ranking with PR0. Well it only means that PR is not always the basis for SERP ranking.
Meron nga ako isang blog na ginawa nung 1st wek of sept.

Yung tungkol doon sa old post.. Maaring ay apekto pero maarin ding wala kasi each post is treated as page at di naman basehan yung date

Better to be secret when you want it to be mfa ( made for adsense ) para di magaya 🙂

I have not been updating a lot in my new blog, and I’m still starting to get active in blogging recently, so I guess I should be thankful for the PR2 I got from Google’s last update.
I hope Google gives you your well-deserved PR Dexter. 😉 Content is King.

Thanks.. for the kind words.. 🙂
Hi Dexter,
Di ka nag-iisa. ako din from 4 to 2, from 2 to 0, tapos 0 to 0.. Anyway, as long as we are still making on serps ok lang siguro.. wag naman sana pati serps…
Sorry to hear this news Dexter. Anyway, I tend to agree with jhay when he said that PR is yesterday’s news.
But in any case, it’s still a metric that people, specially webmasters and advertisers, use to estimate the value of the site. Indeed, PR is important if you are doing PPP, TLA and other related income streams.
However, I think that PR doesn’t really affect the site’s SERP. My zero PR blog that I use for PPP is interestingly, the one which has the most daily traffic.
Anyway, the above case is purely based on observation. I know that the keywords, content quality and the age of the site is a more relevant factor to search engine visibility.
But at the end of the day, I consider PR and SERP’s as just an icing on the cake. What’s really more important is one’s passion for blogging. You write because you want to share something to the world and this is the true essence of being a blogger.
Thanks Fitz with this really inspiring messages. This kind of message tend me to forget the Google’s hit. And you are right :
†What’s really more important is one’s passion for blogging. You write because you want to share something to the world and this is the true essence of being a blogger. â€
It is not the earnings nor the fame will drive you to blog. A true blogger will say what he means even being hit by Google 🙂
Thanks Fitz
soory to hear that dex..I just lost my PR3 to PR 2..
Thanks Lhurey.. I know our PR will again soon be back to it’s real value 🙂
As long as there are readers read our blog.. We have to continue educate our readers no matter what PR we have 🙂
Google PR is so yesterday’s news. 😉
Yeeahh right Jhay.. I have to look forward to tomorrow 🙂
and One day I will post here .. Trust Rank of 8 🙂
I think PPP did that to your PR. Google don’t like PPP.
Well I seldom put PPP on this blog via private engagement. Anyway it is Google’s decision.
Just go on Blogging :). Thanks for the visit Jayce
sorry to hear that..
My two blogs which used to be PR 4s were slapped by Google to PR 2, then PR 0. The PRs never came back despite me stopping paid opportunities. I know how devastating it feels.
But kaw pa dex I know you can get your PR back. Besides what’s important is that you dont lose your SERP.. that’s what’s giving us traffic eh.. I noticed the PR drop yesterday but I thought that was just a glitch or something. I never thought you’d get a PR-0. Basta if you get a good SERP go go go pa rin..Cheer up! 🙂
Uy wala na palang ngdonate after you..hehhehe.. thanks for posting about that in this blog nga pala..
No Problem .. Lady.. Well actually some of my SERP keywords are also affected since lahat ng keywords ko related to games is removed from SERP.
Anyway I pray that you could meet your target requirements for your church building
I have long accepted my lost PR 3 and two PR4s. But good news for me last night since my other blogs were blessed with one notch higher in PR if not retained the old PR for the others.
Go, go, go pa rin sa blogging! 🙂
Same thing happen to my other site. Those site which are not frequently updated have higher PR than those I usually updates on a regular basis..
That is so true. I have seen sites that have zero PR’s but still they rank at the serps. PR’s look only at back links and content. It may interpret some sites differently.. I say quality traffic is still one of the best things to measure.. thus more adsense income 😀 pa-share naman ng tips dex 🙂
cheers,
jayl
