Welcome Me to 2008 Philippine Blog Contest

Jan 16, 2008 by     3 Comments    Posted under: Experiment, Random Post

I recently joined the 2008 Philippine Blog Contest Sponsored by Gotpinoy.com, I see this announcement via the Pinoyblogosphere E-groups in which I am part of.

You can find the contest rules here.

Contest Period: The Contest shall commence on January 15, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). This is currently expected to end on or about December 15, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. EST (the “Deadline”).

OOpsss I just found out that this is a whole year contest. The whole Idea of the Owner is to established a Pinoy Blog Directory on his site.I intend to place it at the upper most section of the blog. And after a month I need to transfer it in the footer. This badge will retain at this site for the whole year. ( Another style of Advertisement ) if I found it worth to keep it.

And so I am joining here not only because I would like to win this project but as a support to this project. This will be a win win scenario. Since the site might have a higher PR later on. If there will be lots of participants there is a chance that the site could give Link Juice to this site. Currently it has PR0 since it is new. A link from high rank site is one of the factor of gaining the Trust Rank ( Page Rank ) from Google or any other search Engine.

Let us see until when this badge will be here.

I wish all the best for this project. BTW there is also an ongoing Philippine Blog Awards that will kick off soon.
