Many rumors have been floating the net regarding the new Android Phone of HTC but what HTC have announced in CES 2009 us the new Windows Mobile phone: the HTC S743. the HTC S743 handset takes some design cues from last year’s HTC Touch Diamond.
By the way if you are looking for a Touch Screen Device this one is not for you, it does have a distinctive design. They said that the unlocked phone has an estimate price of $600 to $700.
So here is the Specs :
The HTC S743, which supports AT&T’s HSDPA network (850/1900 MHz), boasts a 2.4-inch QVGA display and combines a traditional 12-key keypad design with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, the HTC S743 synchronizes with Microsoft Exchange and connects to personal POP3 and IMAP4 e-mail accounts. SMS and MMS messaging, as well as support for a number of instant messaging standards is also included with the HTC S743. The HTC S743 is simply a slider smartphone aiming to take a bite out of the popular U.S. slab QWERTY smartphone market, a market HTC hasn’t targeted heavily with own-branded smartphones earlier.
The Above mentioned specs definitely target the Business Man and those Mobile user that are always on the go.
Looks cool.
But the 2 keyboards scream redundancy. 🙂
