How to activate Smart Philippines International Roaming

It is really important to know how to use your mobile phone while traveling abroad, here is an instruction on how to turn on and turn off the roaming capability of smart SIM card.

The instruction is for post paid pre paid consumers.

For Postpaid Subscribers:

To activate/deactivate international roaming via Web Connect:
- Go to www.smart.com.ph/connect .
- Register and log-in to Web Connect.
- Under the Service Activation/Deactivation block, select "International Roaming".

For Prepaid Subscribers:

To activate via SMS, text ROAM ON <country name> and send to 333.
To deactivate via SMS, text ROAM OFF and send to 333.
To activate/deactivate international roaming via SIM Connect:
- Text Get Menu to 9888 for FREE.
- Upon downloading, go to SMART Menu and choose SIM Connect menu.
- Select International Roaming Activation or Deactivation.
To activate/deactivate international roaming via Web Connect:
- Go to www.smart.com.ph/connect .
- Register and log-in to Web Connect.
- Under the Service Activation/Deactivation block, select "International Roaming".

*To enjoy seamless roaming service, please maintain a minimum load of P100 while abroad.

Calling to Mobile Phone:

SMART – Dial +63 + 918 + 7-digit Mobile No. + Send

Others – Dial +63 + Mobile Access Code + 7-digit Mobile No. + Send

Calling another country:

Dial plus sign (+) + Country Code + Area Code + Tel. No. + Send
