Hotel Review : Byblos Hotel Al Barsha Dubai
I am now in Dubai for another business meeting and this time I am not staying at Rotana Towers due to full occupancy of the Hotel, since I will be having meeting in Al Qouz areas which is near Mall of UAE I have decided to get hotel in a nearby area called Al Barsha Area. Then here I found Byblos Hotel , Al Barsha Dubai , A lebanese Hotel in Tecom area Al Barsha Dubai and here is my review with pictures as shown below
Room Space :
Room space is bigger than Rotana Towers , Club Rotana Room, It is about 1.5 Times as big as my room in Rotana. By the way I am using the Executive Room , which is about only 20 Dirhams difference when it comes to pricing.
Complimentary Items :
They have the full complimentary materials such as slipper, tooth brush soap etc. you just have to ask the reception in order for them to give those complimentary items. It would be better if they can give it or prepare it in advance before the guest arrive. Anyway you can ask it easily at the reception upon checking in.
Hotel Staff :
Hotel Staff is great , it is not because most of them are Filipino but because they know how to respect their guest. They are hospitable and they respond immediately on guest request.
Location :
If you are planning to have a walk around during free time , this is not the place for you since it is surrounded by different buidlings, and this is a residential area, not like in Rotana where you can see different restaurant upon going out of the hotel. It is a peaceful area if you want to stay and relax.
Amenities :
They are saying that they have relaxation area at the 1st floor and there are pool, I did not try it since there is no spare time to make the tour with in the hotel.
Hotel Services :
They have hotel services like what other hotel are having here in Dubai, like baby Sitting, catering, Car Rental, Concierge, Business Center etc..
Internet :
They are charging 15 Dhs per hour for internet connect and if you want it for 24 Hrs you have to pay 100 Dhs.
Food :
If you are planning to get food outside the hotel , it will to be possible since there are no restaurant nearby so you have to avail the hotel restaurant. I have eaten Grilled chicken for dinner for about 55 Dirhams.
