First photo leaked was said to be the iPad Mini’s LCD screen which, according to the source is almost 8 inches with about 162mm in length and 124mm in width.  Previous rumors suggested that it will have the same resolution as the original iPad so as not to create problems in running existing iPad apps. The 4:3 aspect ratios shown on the leaked photos seem to corroborate these rumors. Labels on the screen seem to indicate that LG is manufacturing these screens.

Photos of the iPad Mini’s battery were also leaked. They suggest that the new iPad mini will likely have a 16.7Whr battery that runs at 3.72 volts. The battery will be a perfect fit between the iPhone 5’s 5.45Whr and the latest iPad’s 42.5Whr battery. It is also just under the iPad 2′s 25Whr battery. The battery images that were leaked show a rating of 4490mAh running at 3.72V. We will be able to confirm if all these leaked images are for the iPad Mini after Apple’s much-awaited event on October 23 at 1:00pm EST, or 10:00am PST.
