If you’re the type that doesn’t want to do anything with messy computer cables, chances are you’re using a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. But the thing about these wireless gadgets is that the battery runs out fast. Just imagine you’re playing an intense League of Legends of game and at the critical moment – poof – your wireless playing paraphernalia are dead. Bummer. Suddenly those messy cables seem so enticing.

Well, you can keep on the wireless lifestyle with the new Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750. This practically makes batteries and messy wires a thing of the past.

What’s so good about this bad boy is that it combines form AND function perfectly – the design complements Apple products! What’s more, the solar panel integrated on the upper portion of the keyboard is capable of charging from any light source so there is virtually no need for you to replace the batteries. This sleek and stylish device can also automatically connect to three devices – Mac, iPhone, and iPad – via its 2.4 GHz “Bluetooth connectivity with easy-switching capability” receiver or simply its multi-compatible wireless receiver. And the best thing is you can access all this capability with the touch of a single button.

Speaking of buttons, there are 3 function keys at the top left portion of the keyboard. You simply hit any button and a blue LED will light up to confirm that it has paired to a device – simple and easy to understand.

The keyboard has Chiclet-style buttons which is almost an Apple trademark. Although if you have huge fingers or is used to hitting block-type buttons, then you may have a hard time adjusting to the “feel” of the K750. But then again, if you don’t like the keyboard style then this one not for you.

The solar battery has outstanding longevity too and can stay charged for up to 3 months.

The only downside of the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 is its bulky design (it looks like Apple’s wireless keyboard but significantly larger) and lack of protective case, so it is quite a hassle to carry it around.

The Logitech K750 will only set you back $79.99 about $10 more than Apple’s own wireless keyboard.

Bottomline? Recommended!

The K750 is a perfect blend of form and function and I would definitely recommend this keyboard especially to Apple lovers. Sure, it’s a bit more expensive than Apple’s Bluetooth keyboard but its battery life is so long, that it will practically save you money in the long-run.

My husband always has a Logitech solar keyboard and he said it’s really, really good. I use Logitech or Microsoft only for my mouse.
